Exactly two months to go until Saturday 27 May, the date on which the track and fields of the Carlo Zecchini Stadium in Grosseto will welcome the 2023 edition of the Grifone Meeting.
The presence of Roberta Bruni was announced through the social channels of the event, and on the new grifonemeeting.org website The Italian pole vault record holder will be one of the italian stars of the event in a competition that last year gave important results: in fact, the Norwegian champion Lene Onsrud Retziu won bringing the national record to 4.52m.
Bruni, born in 1994 and bearer of the Carabinieri Sports Group, on 18 February improved to 4.62m her Italian indoor record after 10 years. Winner of the 2019 Naples Universiade, Roberta is also holder of the Italian outdoor record (4.72m).
The pole vault competition will be one of the three jumping competitions, together with the women’s long jump and the men’s triple jump, which are part of this edition’s programme.
