Castiglione Meeting was born in 2003 thanks to the efforts of Atletica Castiglionese, and in particular thanks to the idea and tenacity of Elisabetta Artuso, at that time still an athlete, that became a skilled manager and organizer.
The meeting remained at national level until 2013.
Then from 2014, with the renewal of the track, it became an international meeting, growing every year more and more in importance and visibility, until it recently became EA permit meeting in D class in 2019. In that year the meeting obtained the best technical results ever, reaching the third national place in the ranking of FIDAL meeting project.

We totally agree with this thinking:

“Sport requires people to follow written and unwritten rules to make it fair. It expects people to behave responsibly to ensure respect, fairness and safety. In this way, it promotes social values.”
